$A friend captured this cool refraction of trees in her wine glass. As soon as I saw it, I just knew I had to try putting this image to canvas. This painting is on display at The Old Town Hall in Waterford in the Norfolk Artscos annual Deck the Halls show.$

My son is fortunate to go with friends on an annual camping trip to Algonquin. They brought back some fabulous photos from their trip. This one intrigued me because of its sienna tones, especially because I knew it was very cool up their on this May weekend, but they managed to capture this pocket of warmth.

This location I have painted once before. But I just love the colours of the dogwood against the ochres in the snow speckled fields. From a photo taken in the spring when the water is high at the corner of Thompson and Cockshutt Road, Waterford. On display at Liberty Home Decor and Gift Store, Simcoe.

Yes another painting of garlic. Why ? Hmmm... I think because in my love for colours and shapes I get caught up in the many swirls and textures in something so ordinary as garlic and its protective skin. I see its beauty. Plus, I cook with alot of garlic - its very good for you ! On display at Liberty Home Decor and Gift Store, Simcoe. ON
